This romantic portrayal of a shepherdess with her flock is notable for the glowing light of the late afternoon sun. The skirt of the shepherdess catches this light and serves as the apex of a triangular composition. Painted on artist's board, this 9" x 12" landscape is set in a black period box frame (15" x 18") that contains an interior ornate gilded border. Both the painting and frame make an extremely attractive presentation
