"B. 1906 in Osaka. Grad. 1930 Kyoto Specialist School of Painting. Exhibited prints with Shun'yokai from 1932, Teiten from 1934. Member of Nihon Hanga Kyokai from 1938. Exhibited Japanese-style painting with Seiryusha from 1931; member from 1950. Series of Kyoto scenes, including Eight Snow Scenes of Kyoto published by Uchida, and a series of flower prints made with Tokuriki Tomikichiro and Kamei Tobei published by Unsodo. Condition: very good; strong colors; very slight toning in visible area; full margins with top, left and bottom deckle edges; tipped to cardboard with Uchida address; "UCHIDA" watermark in bottom margin near kento notch.
