"B. 1919 in Kyoto. Studied oil painting and design under Igaki Kahei. Mohukan self taught. Exhibited sosaku-hanga in Kyoto from 1950 and with Banga-in from 1954. Also exhibited with Shin Seisaku Kyokai, Dokuritsu Bijutsu Kyokai, and in numerous solo shows. Represented in modern Japanese print exhibitions in Moscow and Kiev in 1961.
