Bing and Grondahl: "Seagull" covered serving bowl. Covered casserole bowl in the Seagull pattern. The handle on the lid as well as on each side of the bottom piece are in the shape of a sea serpent. Royal Copenhagen: "Flora Danica"cup & saucer. The exquisite hand-painted floral pattern encircles the entire cup and all the enamel is present. The cup has a wonderful vintage-shaped handle that also is decorated in a manner similar to the beaded decoration that encircles the cup. Both pieces have a Royal Copenhagen mark that indicates they were made in 1950 and the name of the flower ("Oscycoccus palustris Rupr") is written on the underside of the cup, as well as several numbers (see photos). These older "Flora Danica" pieces are hard to find, especially in such mint condition. Cup: 2" (H); saucer: 5½" (D). $600. (#HT001) | ||||||||||||||||||
